Artlore Gallery started in 1996 as a private gallery in a garage at Airport Residential Area, Accra Ghana. The idea was born by William K. Adzraku, who, in pursuit of bringing his talent to the limelight, converted his uncle’s garage into a studio.
Later, through the support of his colleague artists, he opened it up as a gallery to carry the works of other artists. The Gallery gained rapid attention due to its strategic location as well as, the uniqueness of works displayed.
However, in 2001, the property hosting the gallery changed hands, which thus caused the gallery to be temporarily relocated to William Adzraku’s private residence.
